What is it about music that is so powerful for human beings,
and learners in particular?

• Is it the increase in creativity that comes from being a producer rather than consumer?
• Is it the connection with affective domains that engages the entire human being?
• Is it the bridges between cultures and across generations?

Perhaps.

But really, it is because it makes us better listeners. Both to each other, and to our inner voices.

When humans grow ears to hear each other, and their own deepest truths, the prospects for our world increase beyond measure.
