CybraryCard Audience

Our primary audience is IT Team members (principals, library media specialists, teacher leaders and technical specialists). Many of these team members are  also parents, who recognize the importance of mastery of Information Technologies for both their children and themselves. Both educators and parents are underserved  in terms of access to Information Literacy skills, and guidance on how to apply the research on how the brain learns best to the work they do with their own children. Similarly, parents who send their children to public and private schools have concerns about whether the investments being made in Information Technology are contributing to growth in academic achievement. Our online courses and regional CyberSeminars are intended to inform and support parents, students, educators and community leaders in the effective use of technology for both home and school use.

  • Educators – learn to integrate new skills and strategies into their  classrooms, tracking their mastery against the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) National Educational Technology Standards
  • Parents – learn to help themselves and their children through technology
  • Students – develop crucial skills and track their progress against state and national standards
